Friends of Holly Twp. Parks

 

The Friends of Holly Township Parks is a non-profit organization formed to promote, support and enhance the facilities, resources and programs of Holly Township Parks and Recreation. Members help with many of the events hosted by the township and are continuously working on improving the facilities of Holly Township Parks and Recreation including The Farmstead, Sorensen Park, and The Holly Township Beach. The friends of Holly Township Parks, through its membership, seeks to give support to the Holly Township Parks and Recreation Department. 

Friends of HTP members enjoy a copy of The Family Fun Times, the Holly Township Parks’ newsletter, containing stories on park improvements, the latest news, and all of the upcoming events the department has to offer.  At monthly meetings members can vote on issues regarding their involvement in the parks. 

Members are encouraged to participate in activities which the parks host, such as children’s events, work days, and celebrations.  Opportunities will be listed in the schedule of events throughout the year on this website and in the Family Fun Times.

The Friends of Holly Township Parks meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:00pm at The Farmstead, located at 13409 N. Holly Rd. in Holly.
