Holly Township Beach |

The Holly Township Beach theme this year will be a “luau!” Come and join us for all the fun and games at the beach! We will of course have the regular favorites of the bounce house and dunk tank, as well as many other fantastic activities and a few surprises! This event will take place at the Holly Beach located at 501 Thomas St, on Thursday July, 30th from 12-4pm. Children of all ages are encouraged to attend. The cost of the event is $5. Tickets purchased prior to the event include lunch, those purchased the day of do not. Tickets can be purchased at either the Nature Center in Sorensen Park or at the beach. The original park overseen by the Holly Township Parks Board is the Holly Township Beach, located at 501 Thomas St., on Bush Lake. Hours of operation are Noon-8pm, 7days a week (weather permitting). The Beach is open from June 11th, 2009-September 7th, 2009. Red Cross certified lifeguards are on duty during all open times. Besides the beach, the park offers play areas with a swing set and a playscape for toddlers, shuffleboard courts and a volleyball court. There is also a concession stand which sells drinks and snacks throughout the summer season. A picnic area with barbecue grills is available on a first come basis. The pavilion is available for rental. The rental fee for the entire day (Noon-8pm) is $125.00 (flat rate) which includes admission to the park for all of your guests and an electrical hook-up.
